Auntys visit to France. PARIS, LYON, AVIGNON, UZES
in total we spent 4 nights in Paris.... heres a few things we got up to......
so i think i will start right from the beginning... For our first dinner together aunty and i decided to fully embrace the fact that we were in France so we ordered snails for an entree. let me tell you this now snails are disgusting they taste like grass. it was my first time trying them.
we visited the arc de triomph
we also visited galleria Lafayette. It is such a magnificent building with a stain glass window roof and huge beautiful balcony's You can also walk to the top of the building where there is a huge deck overlooking Paris.
the Sacre Coeur and Moulin rouge
and also the art Markets...
and on the open roofed bus
we also caught the tuk tuk taxi. it was pretty funny
On our last day in Paris we went and visited Line, the lady whom once many years ago my mother looked after. She took us to a very fancy restaurant. we also ment and visited the very famous road with all the original Brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton ect and all the stores had building attached where the clothes were designed and made in. on this street we saw lots of women with botox. it was funny to look at.
- Lyon-
we were only in Lyon for one night so we didn't really do much. We just went shopping and went on the open bus tour of the town. The bus tours are great though because they really show you alot!
-Uzes-
Uzes is a town in Provence in the south of France. In Uzes we rented a cottage out. In Uzes we vitied the town, the Haribo Museum/Factory and just relaxed for a few days. My Friend Ellie the Australian also came to the south of France for a few nights.
ps.... don't you worry those lollies werent just mine... Aunty brought 3kgs of lollies. She's crazy!
-Avignon-
we stayed in Avignon for 3 nights.
we visited the palace of Popes, which is the place that the popes used to live.
we went on a train tour of the town
And we also went on a boat tour on the river
So that concludes my Time with aunty. I said goodbye to her yesterday at the train station in Paris. She cried which was expected. Loved seeing new sights and being with a familiar face.
